Step 3: Build a Sample Application
- Double click on the Wind River Workbench icon
on the desktop; this icon starts the Wind River Workbench tool. The Workbench is a development suite used to build, debug and launch the iDigi sample applications.
- When the Workspace Launcher dialog appears, you can select "Use this as the default" and "Do not ask again" to avoid this dialog in the future.
- Read the Welcome to Wind River Workbench 3.3 dialog, and then on the Getting Started tab, click the X to close the view.
- The sample applications appear on the left hand side of the workbench.
- Right-click on idigi_device_request and select Build Project, as shown in the picture below:
In the Build Console on the lower portion of the screen you can view the build output, it will say "Build Finished" as shown below.
