Device Connector for Force.com

The Device Connector for Force.com is a collection of Custom Objects, Apex Classes and VisualForce pages used to import data from the iDigi Device Cloud. iDigi's suite of device network management and application development features empower application developers to create, test, and deploy their "Internet of Things" applications. Any M2M device can connect to iDigi, and with that, applications that allow complete real-time insight into device status and data are made possible.

These devices report time-stamped data to iDigi through iDigi Dia (Device Integration Application). The Device Connector for Force.com imports a list of devices registered on the iDigi Device Cloud, and all of the time-stamped data on their Dia channels.

To simplify this documentation, the package’s namespace prefix, "idigi", has been left out of object, class and VisualForce page names. For example, the API Name for the custom object "iDigi Account" is "idigi__iDigi_Account__c".
