A. Purpose
The Digi SMI MIB provides high level organization for all enterprise
OID registrations for Digi International, Inc. The DIGI SMI MIB is
required for the proper operation of all future MIB development for
Digi International, Inc. products. 

B. Format
The DIGI-SMI MIB complies with SMIv1 syntax, compatible with most
MIB based applications. The digiReserved sub-branch is reserved for 
future applications. The digiProducts sub-branch serves as a root
for the OID registrations of Digi product specific MIBs. The
digiCapabilities and digiRequirements sub-branches are reserved for
future applications. The digiExperimental branch is for products
under development, and is noted in section C.

C. digiExperimental sub-branch OID Registrations
OID registrations under the digiExperimental sub-branch are under 
development, and, consequently, subject to change without notice. 
Applications which make use of registrations under this sub-branch
are not gauranteed to function appropriately.
