                  Digi Connect Device Identity MIB

1.  INTRODUCTION

    The Device Identity MIB was designed for use with network
    managmentstations or any other SNMP based application which can read
    SMIv1formatted MIB files.  It complements the supported standard mibs
    RFC1213, RFC1658, and RFC1659.
    
    The OID registration for the root of the Wireless LAN MIB is provided by
    the DIGI-SMI MIB, and, consequently, the DIGI-SMIis required for proper
    operation on most managment applications.  The Device Identity MIB
    complies with SMIv1 syntax, compatiblewith most applications which utilize
    MIBs.
