P/N 93001188f Release Notes for Digi ClassicBoard Config Utilities December 10, 1996 This software package includes the Configuration Utility for all Digi Hawaii-series non-intelligent adapters. It is used to (re)configure an adapter for Plug And Play or legacy modes, as well as set various I/O, IRQ and interrupt options. This package makes use of the Hawaii Library, 40001447. As the library is updated, this product should update. 1. Enhancements Added wait state selection. 2. Bug Fixes Multiple Boards would cause 'unique' problems. 3. Known Limitations Certain Plug and Play BIOSes may behave incorrectly, and may incompletely initialize Plug and Play adapters in the system. Although steps have been taken to try and eliminate this problem, the Utility may not recognize a factory programmed (as a PnP device) Hawaii board. If the Utility reports that no Hawaii class boards were found in the system, it is necessary to run the "RST" program provided on the Utility disk. This will reset all PnP devices in the system and enable the Utility to detect the Hawaii board installed. It should not affect the operation of the system at all. Entering '..' for a path name at the root directory of a drive will hang the system. 4. Manual Errata None.
