Once your Android device is correctly connected and you have performed your first boot, you can configure the device's network settings. To do so follow these steps:
To return to the Home screen, click User Board Button 2 to display the Android status bar. Next, click the Home button within the status bar to return to the Home screen, or click the Back button to go back to the previous window:

After configuring your device, you need to create a remote device configuration. This configuration will be used by Digi ESP for Android to know where to transfer files and perform remote application launches and debugs.
In the main Digi ESP for Android window, click the Device Manager button from the Workbench's main toolbar:

The Device Manager dialog will be displayed:
To create a new remote device configuration, click the New remote configuration icon:

The new configuration will be created receiving a generic name which you can change:
The only parameter you will have to configure is the device's IP address. To retrieve your Android device's IP address, read Tips & Tricks > Retrieving device IP Address
Click on the button to make the configuration you just created the current one. Setting this configuration as the current one means that Digi ESP will use it to perform several operations that require interaction with the remote device.
