Installation notes for Dynamic C/Rabbit
Version 6.04 and 6.04B

This note regards the installation of your Dynamic C®/Rabbit software included in your Rabbit 2000 Development Kit. If you experience difficulties running a program after installing the software on your hard drive, you may need to remove the Read-Only attributes from the files in your Dynamic C®/Rabbit directory.

Instructions:

  1. In Explorer go to the Dynamic C root directory, ie: C:\DCRabbit.
  2. Select all files in the directory: dcwd.exe, dcw.cfg,*.dll's, etc.
  3. Under File menu, choose Properties.
  4. On the General tab there is an Attribute category.
  5. Clear the check mark on the Read-Only selection.
  6. Select OK and now startup Dynamic C.
