INTRODUCTION

  This is a production release of firmware for the ConnectPort X3 gateway.

  The ConnectPort X3 gateway provides cellular connectivity for devices and
  Digi XBee networks.

ENHANCEMENTS

  - New VPDs, now stored in parallel Flash
  - Added RCI descriptors
  - Added Python RCI callback module
  - Added RCI enable/disable PPP command
  - Switched to YAFFS filesystem
  - Improved Python performance
  - Reduced Flash image size and improved firmware update process
  - Changed EDP keep-alive defaults to RX=900 and TX=915


BUG FIXES

  - Corrected SN and IMSI RCI responses
  - Sleep/RTC calculation fixes


KNOWN LIMITATIONS

  - XBee firmware update is supported for the local radio only. Over the air
    updates to a remote XBee are not supported. 

  - GPS LED is always off. This will be enabled in a future software
    release.

  - tcgetstats() and tcsetsignals() termios functions are not supported.
  
  - Sleep with XBee networking is not supported. 

  - The Python SSL module not supported.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

   This production release of firmware is incompatible with any pre-release 
   version. If you have received a beta device with a firmware version prior 
   to 2.0.2.0, please RMA it to get the firmware updated to the latest version.
