KNOWN ISSUES None. DOCUMENTATION ERRATA None. HISTORY ENHANCEMENTS 82001160_E - Added capability to reset cellular module or device after a configurable number of failed originations. - Added features to support requirements for usage on the Verizon network - SIM PIN support for GSM carriers - Maximum number of NAT triggers is now configurable - Configurable delayed ACK, gratuitous ARP, RTO min/max, ARP TTL - Connections to Connectware Manager server can be compressed - Enhanced capability of the device to re-connect to the mobile network if the connection is lost for any reason 82001160_D2 Fixed an issue where Connect WAN Edge10 cellular module initialization/communication would work intermittently. Added a cellular session watchdog to monitor connection persistence. 82001160_D1 Add static IP route configuration to the web UI. Support for customer-specific custom defaults. Fixed DHCP server when adding reservations and exclusions in the web UI. Fixed problem when restoring DHCP server settings from backup, in which the IP address pool was incorrectly restored. Fixed handling of ICMP redirect messages that caused erroneous host routes to be added to the IP routing table. 82001160_D Support for Digi Connect WAN Edge10. Support for additional wireless carriers: o T-Mobile (GSM) o Rogers (GSM) o SunCom (GSM) o Petrocom (GSM) o Telstra (PCS) IPSec VPN pass-through for ESP tunnels (NAT and protocol forwarding). DHCP server. RSSI (signal strength) monitoring and alarms. Cellular data monitoring and alarms. Static IP routes. DNS client support. Fixed a network resource leak with the telnet client. Fixed Connectware Manager device security key handling for secure authentication, encryption and privacy in communication between the Digi Connect WAN and the Connectware Manager server. 82001160_C Support for Digi Connect WAN S1X, Sprint CDMA network. Configurable PPP LCP keepalive probes support added. Added 'display arp' command to display ARP table entries. Longer 32 character PAP/CHAP usernames supported, up from 16. Enhanced 'display ppp' diagnostic output. Enhanced 'display mobile' output, and removed statistics duplicated in 'display ppp.' Enhanced 'show versions' command to display numeric boot/POST versioning. Improved mobile reset handling. Cellular network provider primary/secondary DNS addresses displayed on mobile system information page, as well as via 'display ppp' command. General PPP PAP/CHAP authentication fixes. Fixed a network resource leak with the remote management client. Fixed issue where CPU utilization would spike to 100% when the SNMP service was disabled. Fixed issue where ARP requests under port forwarding were not properly formed. 82001160_B A "ping" command was added to the commandline interface. By default, the serial port now exposes a commandline interface. The default terminal characteristics for console access are 9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity. An enhanced display of NAT related status items are now available via the "display nat" CLI command. The IP statistics have been modified to include some NAT related data. SSHv2 services have been added. The mobile statistics have been enhanced to incorporate PPP statistics. PPP statistics have been enhanced to show total session time, session receive and transmit idle times, and bytes transmitted and received in the current session. Counters for various disconnection events have also been added. A few cosmetic fixes were made to the online help for some of the commandline commands. In particular, line wrapping was adjusted for some commands with many options, and options for some commands were alphabetized. The "uptime" display was not correctly computing the number of days. The ICMP statistics in the unit have been corrected (two of the standard ICMP counters were not incrementing properly). The ethernet statistics have been fixed -- they were often incrementing the interface error counter (ifInErrors) incorrectly. The "forwarding" command had an inverted interpretation of command parameters, resulting in IP forwarding being turned on when off was intended, and vice-versa. A fix was put in place to correct for a class of Cellular network disconnect events not being propagated to the firmware properly, possibly resulting in periods of lost Cellular connectivity. A fix was put in place to make firmware updates over HTTP on the Cellular network more reliable. 82001160_A Initial release.
