These devices provide high-performance serial port connectivity with added MEI support, 802.3af powered Ethernet, and 9-30V DC power. These devices support a 10/100 mbps Ethernet network interface, TCP/IP, Telnet, Reverse Telnet, SNMP, PPP, SSHv2, PortBuffering, ARP-Ping, ADDP, DPA-Remote monitoring tool, and Digi's patented RealPort software for COM or TTY port control and management. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ---------------------- | Upgrading Firmware | ---------------------- WIRELESS UPGRADE In order to upgrade a wireless device ( Digi One TS W or PortServer TS 2/4 W) to EOS 82000747_M.bin, the user must first upgrade the POST code (82000826) to Revision C or later. NON-WIRELESS UPGRADE In order to upgrade a Digi One TS, a PortServer TS 2/4, a TS 2/4 MEI, a Digi One TS H or a PortServer TS 2/4 H, the user must first upgrade the post code (82000751) to revision D or later. A TFTP server will be required for the following steps: Command Line Upgrade if POST ---------------------------- Upgrade the POST with the command: WIRELESS boot load-boot=:82000826_C.bin NON-WIRELESS boot load-boot=:82000751_D.bin A reset is necessary to allow the new POST to run: boot action=reset Command Line Upgrade of EOS -------------------------- Upgrade the EOS with the command: boot load=:82000747_M.bin The unit should be reset after the EOS upgrade. HTTP upgrade of EOS -------------------- The EOS may also be upgraded from the Web UI configuration interface.
