INTRODUCTION The Digi AIX C/X & Xem device driver makes the ports on a (C/X) C/CON concentrator or (Xem) PORTS/em module appear as though they are local AIX tty devices directly attached to the computer. 2. SUPPORTED PRODUCTS C/X adapter and associated C/CON concentrators. Xem adapter and associated PORTS/em modules. 3. ENHANCEMENTS Changed format of the release notes. 4. BUG FIXES A problem with the driver not releasing a memory address in the Xem PORTS/em module initialization has been fixed. The symptom of this error was only seen in AIX 4.3.2, and resulted in a system crash when configuring Xem PORTS/em modules or upon boot if the modules were not previously configured. An incorrect smit description has been corrected. The symptom of this error was smit incorrectly displaying ISA Xem modules as PCI Xem modules. A FEP/OS problem has been fixed. The symptom of this error was seen as the fourth "daisy-chained" connected PCI C/X concentrator not being recognized upon configuration. 5.
