          1. INTRO

          The Realport driver is a set of  TCP  network  drivers  that
          provides real tty's functionality for Digi's PortServer pro-
          duct line.  This  release  of  the  Realport  Drivers  fixes
          several problems in both the OSR5 and Unixware versions when
          a broken  network  connection  occurs.   The  ditty  printer
          option for the OSR5 driver behaves like the Unixware version
          and if set leaves the terminals settings sticky.

          3. BUG FIXES

          Some ports were not accessible after  a  network  connection
          had been broken.  This is now fixed.


          4. KNOWN LIMITATIONS

          The driver sends a SIGHUP to the controlling terminal when a
          network  connection  has  been broken.  A process that is no
          longer part of the process group may not receive the SIGHUP.

          Under UnixWare, the open count for the RealPort devices  are
          sometimes  reported incorrectly by the OS.  This may prevent
          the driver from being unloaded.  A system reboot  is  neces-
          sary to clear this up.

          If the network  connection  is  lost  between  the  RealPort
          driver  and  the  PortServer,  it  may  take several minutes
          before communications can be re-established with  the  Port-
          Server.
