Introduction

   This Digi software package includes device drivers for the
   Digi Neo PCI series of products.

   This software package has been tested under SCO OpenServer 6,
   SCO OpenServer 6 with Maintenance Pack 1 and SCO OpenServer 6
   with Maintenance Pack 2.

   This package also contains:

      1) ditty:         Digi's stty replacement.
      2) dinc:          A cu replacement.  Simpler to use than cu.

Known Limitations

    During package removal on OpenServer 6 Maintenance Pack 1,
    you may receive a warning similar to the following:
        UX:pkgremove: WARNING: e-mail notification may have failed
    The warning message is harmless and can be ignored.

Notes

    o To install this package, use "pkgadd"
	    For example:
	    pkgadd -d /tmp/40002548_A.pkg

    o A reboot of the system might be required to remove
      the driver from the system.

    o The naming convention for this drivers ttys is the following:    
           
            /dev/ttyn<x><y>
       
                 where <x> is the board number, starting from "0",
                 and <y> is the tty letter, starting from "a",
                 and moving upwards to at most "h".

    o Because of the way the DDI 8 interface works with serial drivers
      in OpenServer 6, all the Digi Neo products will end up having 8
      tty devices being built, even for Digi Neo products that have
      only 2 or 4 ports.
