1.  INTRODUCTION

    This Digi Administrator software package includes all libraries and software
    required to install and configure Digi International's Device and PortServer Devices.
    It also features device discovery and IP assignment and provide virtual COM Port support.

5.  KNOWN LIMITATIONS

  a)After first installation RemoteCOM Service will start automatically even though there are
    no virtual COM Ports configure. A system error message will display that one
    system service failed to start. If RemoteCom Service is configured, this message
    will not be displayed. If the RemoteCOM Service is not used, the Service "RemoteCOM"
    can be set to manual. 
    
    Windows NT & Windows 2000 :
    
    System Event message : The RemoteCOM_Drv service failed to start
    			   The RemoteCOM_srv service depend on the RemoteCOM_Drv Service  
  
  
  b)Some registry keys will not be removed after de-installation of the Digi Administrator
  
  c)Digi Administrator Program Group will not be removed in Win9X

7.  PACKAGE INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

    o The executable provided will launch an install wizard.

    o The program may be removed by running the Add/Remove Programs
      utility in Window's Control Panel.
