INTRODUCTION

  This driver package supports Digi's AccelePort Xp and AccelePort RAS
  adapters, exposing their physical ports as standard AIX tty devices.


SUPPORTED PRODUCTS

  This device driver package supports the following Digi hardware adapters:

    AccelePort RAS 4    4-port modem adapter, North American & International
    AccelePort RAS 8    8-port modem adapter, North American & International

    AccelePort 2p PCI   2-port serial adapter
    AccelePort 4p PCI   4-port serial adapter
    AccelePort 8p PCI   8-port serial adapter
    AccelePort 16p PCI  16-port serial adapter

  None.


BUG FIXES

  The latest Digi adapter firmware has been incorporated into this
  maintenance release.


KNOWN LIMITATIONS

  AccelePort RAS 4/8
    No known limitations.

  AccelePort 2/4/8/16 PCI
    Stress tests executed at 921k bi-directionally on all ports have
    experienced intermittent data loss.  This problem is currently
    unresolved.

    supports Digi's AccelePort Xp PCI adapter family.

    Transparent print support has been added for ports associated with
    AccelePort Xp adapters.

    The PortAssist manager would incorrectly report zero ports for AccelePort
    RAS adapters.
