- Select the "Create new or Overwrite existing Digi
server database" option. This will cause the database to be configured
during this installation. It is assumed that a database has previously been
installed, either on the local machine or on a machine within the local
network.
- Enter the appropriate information for the Database
Server Name, Database Login, and Database Password.
The Database Server Name can be local or remote – in
either case, the database should be running and accessible. The default Database
Login is "sa" with a password specified during the installation of the database. If you opt to use
a different database login and password, be aware that these must be identical
to the database login and password that were specified in the earlier configuration
of the database.
- The Database Name can be edited if desired by doing a custom installation.
- The Database Server Port. If SQL Server 2000 is
used, enter the database server port that was assigned when SQL Server 2000 was installed.
If MSDE is used, the installer will automatically detect the correct database server port.
