OSTaskDel

INT8U OSTaskDel( INT8U prio );

Description

Deletes a task. The calling task can delete itself by passing either its own priority number or OS_PRIO_SELF if it doesn't know its priority number. The deleted task is returned to the dormant state and can be re-activated by creating the deleted task again.

Parameters

prio
Task's priority number.

Return value

OS_NO_ERR
The call was successful.

OS_TASK_DEL_IDLE
Attempting to delete µC/OS-II's idle task.

OS_PRIO_INVALID
The priority specified is higher than the maximum allowed (i.e.  OS_LOWEST_PRIO) or, OS_PRIO_SELF not specified.

OS_TASK_DEL_ERR
The task to delete does not exist.

OS_TASK_DEL_ISR
Attempting to delete a task from an ISR.
