Unstalling the Datafire GO SERIES ISDN adapter from WINDOWS 95. Run the Digi Uninstall from the PROGRAMS/DATAFIRE group. Run Windows EXPLORER. Set VIEW/OPTIONS to SHOW ALL FILES. Delete the DATAFIRE directory. Goto the the WINDOWS\INF directory and delete and/or verify that the following files are NOT present. CXPDFGO.INF DRVDATA.BIN DRVIDX.BIN MDMDFGO.INF MFDFGO.INF NDISWAN.INF NETDFGO.INF In Win95 versions 950 and 950A delete any OEMx.INF files that contain reference to Digi Datafire. In OSR2 versions of WIN95, vewrify that any reference to Digi and or Datafire are removed from the WINDOWS/INF/OTHER directory. Goto the WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory and delete and/or verify that the following files are NOT present. CFGWIZ32.EXE CFGWIZ32.DG CXPINST.DLL DIGICBRI.SYS DIGICXP.DLL DIGIDFGO.HLP MSCFGWIZ.EXE NOTE: A number of the files listed here will be removed by the Digi Uninstall utility, but it is neccessary to verify that they have indeed been deleted to ensure proper reinstall of the product. Exit Windows EXPLORER. RUN REGEDIT With "MY COMPUTER" highlighted select EDIT and then FIND. The string to find is DATAFIRE. Delete any entry which refers to DATAFIRE GO. Delete any HARDWARE KEYS that refer to DATAFIRE GO. Use the F3 key to FIND NEXT until you finish searching the registry. Once done searching for DATAFIRE, go back to the top of the registry and highlight "MY COMPUTER" again. Find for the string DFGO. You should find and delete the following entries. CXPDFGO.INF CXPINST.DLL DIGICBRI.SYS DIGICXP.VXD DIGIDFGO.HLP DIGIVIEW.DLL DIGIVIEW.EXE MDMDFGO.INF MFDFGO.INF NETDFGO.INF Once these entries are deleted, the uninstall is complete, and if you wish you can then reinstall the card and drivers after restarting your system.
